VANTIS LIFE and PEOPLE'S SECURITIES PRESENT AT 2006 ABIA ANNUAL CONFERENCE

WINDSOR, CT - September 14, 2006 - Vantis Life Insurance Company's Senior Vice President of Marketing, Craig Simms, together with Jane-ellen Porter, Vice President and Investment Sales Program Manager at People's Securities, Inc., presented as part of the Life Coverages Panel at the 2006 ABIA (American Bankers Insurance Association) Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. Their topic was "Platform Based Life Insurance."

"Our presentation focused on how our partners have had success selling life insurance to middle- and upper-middle-income customers by offering a broad selection of simple-to-understand products at the point of service," said Mr. Simms. "Many customers in this demographic simply have not had an 'opportunity to buy' life insurance. Many of our partners have found that by making the right platform-based products available to their customers, they are able to add an additional product relationship and add incremental fee income."

"People's generated about $1 million in new and renewal commissions in 2005 alone," commented Ms. Porter. "We did this by offering our customers the right array of products, available for purchase right in their bank branch. We feel good about making coverage available to our customers who may have not had access to it before."

Ms. Porter presented an overview of People's Securities life insurance program and the success they have achieved by making a simple selection of products available through their branch network. Mr. Simms analyzed the opportunity in the underserved middle-income market and presented the "eight key components of a successful bank platform life insurance program."

The presentation was part of the Life Coverages Panel at the American Bankers Insurance Association's 2006 Annual Conference, September 10-12 at the J.W. Marriott, Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC. The Conference's focus was "Expanding Horizons: Maximizing Insurance Opportunities in Banks."
